Rates

The season runs from May 1st to September 30th.

$1,600.00 per day plus GST for 1 – 4 guests. Additional $100.00 per person after 4,  up to 6 guests. Rates are subject to a 5% sales tax.

A $250.00 per day deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your date.

The remainder of your payment is made the night before or day of via e-transfer or cash.

What to expect

Charters are based on a 10 hour day, departing at first light from Pacific Gateway Marina. An in-depth safety orientation will be given prior to departure. All fishing gear, bait, etc. is supplied. Also, water and coffee are complimentary. Salmon and halibut will be our targeted species with potential for ling cod and rock fish by-catch. Before returning to the dock we retrieve the crab pots. Once at the dock, your fish will be cleaned for processing.

What to bring

Fishing licence, sun screen, sun glasses, light rain jacket, hat, lunch and snacks.

Wear comfortable clothing to suit the weather conditions.

Safety

At Captn’s Sportfishing safety is our highest priority. A full in-depth safety orientation will be given prior to departure explaining vessel operation, location of safety equipment/operations and all aspects of safety protocol.

Satisfaction is equipped with a Transport Canada approved self- inflating, 6 person capacity life raft, life jackets and a first aid kit. All safety equipment is current and in perfect working order.

Fish Processing

Fish processing is available for your catch by a local company who provide commercial vacuum packing and flash freezing for overnight guests. Alternately, your fish can be filleted or cut head off at the dock, bagged and ready for your departure. Ice for transporting fish in your coolers is available at the Marina, at a cost.
